Show Season
2010 has been extremely successful with excellent results at the Victorian All Welsh Show, the National Welsh Show, Victorian Welsh Feature Show, NE Border Foal Show and the APSB Foal Show in Wangaratta.
Victorian All Welsh Show
Nattai Medwen won the WM Open Brood Mare class and was Reserve Champion Mare at 17 years of age. Her colt foal was 5th in the WM Foal Class.
Barakee Jamaican Rose was 2nd in the WM 2 YO Filly and was 2nd in the WM Foal Futurity. Jamaica was also a member of the Best Progeny Group (by Nattai Calypso) for the second year running.
Welsh National Show
Barakee Jamaican Rose was 2nd in the WM 2 YO Filly and Barakee Tulle was 3rd in the WM Yearling Filly.
Victorian Welsh Feature Show
Barakee Jamaican Rose won the WM 2 YO Filly and then went on to be Champion WM Filly, Best Youngstock Welsh Mountain and ultimately Best Youngstock.
Barakee Tulle was 2nd in the WM Yearling Filly .
NE Border Foal Show
Barakee Badger (Nattai Snowbound x Nattai Medwen) was 2nd in a strong WM Colt foal class and Barakee Windsong (Nattai Calypso x Barakee Breeze) was 4th in a very strong WM Filly class.
APSB Foal Show
Barakee Badger won the WM Colt Foal and was Reserve Champion WM Foal in Ring 1 and won and was Champion WM Foal in Ring 2. Barakee Windsong was 2nd in the WM Filly in Ring 1 and won and was Champion WM Foal in Ring 2. The pair won the Owner's Pair in both rings.
2010 Foaling Season
Three mares are due to foal this year. We look forward with anticipation to foals from Medwen, Briar Rose and Brocade, all by Nattai Snowbound (Nattai Madog x Nattai Snowball).
